Fantasy Basketball: What is Jeremy Lin’s Trade Value?
Situations like the one Jeremy Lin owners find themselves in are every bit as rare as they are amazing.
After all, who was the last waiver wire player to put up 27 points per game and 7.3 assists per game while leading their team to seven consecutive wins after struggling mightily up until that point?
I can’t think of anyone!
“Linsanity” has hit an all-time high after Lin’s buzzer beating game winner against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night.
That said, is now the time to sell high on Lin?
Yesterday I wrote I was considering dealing Stephen Curry for Jeremy Lin in a keep-five league. Even before reading the slew of readers’ comments, all of which proclaimed me crazy, I had already decided not to propose the trade.
“Let Lin do it for more than six games,” seemed to be the general consensus. But if I am considering dealing premier talent like Curry for Lin, surely others are, as well.
So, what could Lin land someone in a trade, most especially in a keeper league (I don’t see the point in trading Lin in a one year league, since it seems at least probably he continues his tear this current situation
